Raghu Karnad is a journalist and essayist, and the author of Farthest Field: An Indian Story of the Second World War, which received Yale’s Windham-Campbell Prize for non-fiction in 2019. He was part of the founding team and was bureau chief of, and was a 2022-’23 Cullman fellow at the New York Public Library. He also produces and presents video, film and podcasts.
