Briohny Doyle

Briohny Doyle is the author of the Miles Franklin nominated novel Echolalia. Her other books include Why We Are Here, Adult Fantasy and The Island Will Sink. Her books have been listed for the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards, The Richell Prize for new fiction, The Melbourne Prize for literature and the Readings New Fiction Prize. She has published essays and short stories in the Monthtly, Griffith Review, Meanjin, The Age, The New York Times. She teaches creative writing at the University of Sydney and was a 2020 Fulbright Scholar at The New School, New York.
